Every gift builds the legacy
Family contributions and gifts from friends keep the homeplace in the family and fund each phase of the work. Every payment goes to the Turner family account and is recorded by fund.
Join the Legacy Circle
The Circle is how the children and grandchildren of the seven heirs keep Turnerosa paid for, protected and growing. Commit to an automatic draft of at least $30 a month, about a dollar a day, and the homeplace never has to wait on a big ask again.
Separate from reunion dues. Why the Circle matters →

What we’re doing together this year
These are the family’s shared goals. Each one needs every household.
Fully fund the Phase II addition
New foundation, kitchen, bathroom and systems for the homeplace.
40% funded
Pay the 2026 property taxes, on time, together
About $631 this year, thanks to the agricultural classification. Unpaid taxes are how families lose land.
Every household connected and contributing
About two dozen households share the homeplace. The goal is for all of them to give something: money, time, skills or stories.
Choose the next phase together
Gathering grounds, working land or a legacy retreat. The family decides what comes after the addition.
Make a plan for the land’s future
Talk with an attorney about how the homeplace is held, so it passes clearly to the next generation and can’t be lost to a partition sale.
Take your place
We are the descendants of people who held on through the hardest years this state had to offer. We pledge to keep the homeplace in the family, to carry our share, to show up for one another, and to leave Turnerosa better for the children coming after us.
Tell us what you’ll commit to this year. Every pledge goes to the family officers so we can plan the work and the budget together.
Other ways to pay
Family members can also pay by Zelle, Cash App or mailed check. Payment details are kept in the Family Area so they aren’t posted publicly.
Whatever method you use, include a memo with your name and the fund (Property, Reunion, Dues or Donation) so it’s credited correctly.
Open the Family AreaHow gifts are tracked
Every payment is logged by household and fund. The Family Area shows totals raised for each phase, the annual budget and the account balance, so everyone can see where the money goes.
